St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) and in collaboration with the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), Ascendens Asia and the Research Advocacy for Community Empowerment (RACE), delivers the 4th International Interdisciplinary Research Conference that delves into the different studies, theories and practices, and perspectives that need to be explored, developed and implemented to ensure a holistic, global, lifelong and sustainable kind of education and in preparation for quality life. Moreover, international and local experts and specialists will be tapped to discuss and give workshops on global citizenship education, internationalization and transnational education, adult learning and lifelong education, Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (UN SDGs), global health education and healthcare management, business and hospitality paradigms, and new pedagogical designs and approaches to promote global education towards national and world peace and prosperity.

This conference implies the mandate for active involvement and initiative to do, create, innovate, initiate, improve, anticipate, and embark on transformative and effective educational pathways to meet the challenging tasks and responsibilities upon educators in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

The Conference aims to:

  1. provide an educational platform for interdisciplinary discussion on the challenges and impact of the 4th industrial revolution;
  2. engage in professional networking and share research, innovative models, creative pedagogical designs, new paradigms and educational pathways for the 4th industrial revolution;
  3. undertake workshops and discussions on global citizenship education, global health education and healthcare management, internationalization in education, peace education, adult learning, and the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 for transforming the world; and
  4. come up with collaborative research projects and training programs on new educational pathways, strategies and approaches in the 4th industrial revolution.
